Bali is a place which is well suited for holiday destinations. Bali has a great variety of wildlife, many attractions and wildlife which had attracted me to visit the place. Ilove wildlife photography and for me the place was ideal and unforgettable. Many parks were present which offered a variety of local sightseeing. The Monkey forest is one of Bali’s macaque-inhabited forests which is well-known for its management, ease of accessing it and its favorable location. I got to know by the local people that the place was a site where scientific research also took place. Listening this I and my friends were curious and were attracted to the place as a honeybee is attracted to its hive.
The place is characterized with cool and calm highland climate with the access to dining and shopping scenes. It is renowned cultural hub and is also a natural; landmark where a nature lover like me could silently witness the true aspects of nature. Another amazing and interesting site was an ancient, old bathing temple which was located within the forest and was easily accessible. Many relics and statues are all covered in moss which provided the place an ancient and eerie feeling. The place has been populated by monkeys and has also been not disturbed by human beings for several years so the monkeys know do not have any fear of man and they can easily hurt any person so many safety precautions are to be taken.
The monkey forest even has many local guides who are ready to assist and help people during their visit. The information about the historical and cultural significance about many temples and sites which were included within the sanctuary premises was also provided by the guides we had hired.
I with a special permission was allowed to go with guide near the animals to click some beautiful and amazing photographs of those cute animals. The journey has been very vigourating and tiring and we decided to go back to our hotels so that we could do preparations to visit the next location that was derawan islands in Indonesia.
