After a long and tiring flight we reached Sydney at 8 o’clock at night. The Thai Airways was uneventful, except its good and the entertainment onboard, which kept us occupied for sometimes, especially my son Joseph. Nevertheless, by the time we reached Sydney we were all too exhausted to feel our arrival in Australia. Though all three of us were very much excited in the beginning for our foreign trip, after travelling in a 12 hours flight the excitement subsided a little. Since our trip was organized by a travelling agency, everything was planned and punctual. We were received by a car from the hotel whose chauffeur was waiting outside the Kingsford Smith International Airport with a placard of Hotel Hampton Inn Sydney. We entered the most populous city of Australia at night but were in no condition to enjoy its night life.
Though exhausted I could not help noticing the glittering city in its full buzz. As we reached the hotel, the surrounding ambience lifted our exhausted demeanor a little. It was quite impressive; at least I could say that watching my husband who is not a person to be easily pleased. We had a ‘King Room’ booked for us, which had all the necessary amenities and even more. On entering the reception my husband looked into the formalities of checking in, while I waited with our luggage and my almost sleepy son at the lobby. Once we were given the key of the room we entered into this grand suite, which was nicely decorated and had all the facilities required. Since it was late we went into the restaurant and had our dinner. The hotel provided continental breakfast, which was highly enjoyed by a foodie like me and my family. It had free Wi-Fi connection, which kept my husband and me occupied with our social networking at times. There was an indoor pool with a water slide, which was a great attraction for our kid.
Overall, the stay at hotel Hampton Inn Sydney was very satisfactory for us due to its great ambience, facilities and location. Any hotel is judged on the basis of its service and food and both of these were really good. Along with our stay there, our trip was organized well by our agent. It included visiting famous tourist spots like Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House besides other attractions. Our stay at the hotel was really a pleasing experience and we enjoyed it to the fullest.
